OAP: My friends and I always get into an argument about who the true Masters of Comedy in Nigeria are. One of them said the answer is pretty simple. Basketmouth, AY, BOVI, Okey Bakassi & Julius Agwu, another Said I Go Dye, Gordons and Basket mouth, One also said Bovi, Basket mouth, Seyi Law, Some also sayBasketmouth, Bovi & AY. I thought about it and remember last week when I was watching the past edition of Laffta fest on Youtube featuring so many of the top comedians whilst having a drink, I laughed so hard that I sprayed the drink through my nose. Our Naija Comedians simply crack me up! Wow, ladies and Gentlemen, Boys & girls Basket mouth just walked into the studio!!!!!!

Basketmouth : Pali I deh o. lagos How una deh. I greet you all. Let me make a contribution to your discussion first before anything. The argument truly has no end. Some of my fans see me and say Basket Mouth I’m your biggest fan and I believe you’re the best thing in Comedy, same way other comedians enjoy followership and support from their fans too.
Now, as to why I am here. It is not about us as individual comedians; its really about celebrating the Comedy industry and Art, which GLOBACOM has been doing for many years through its comedy show - Laffta Fest; Creating that platform for its subscribers i.e families, friend and even enemies to bond with one another. It will also feature Salvador from Uganda. Bros, it will be an unforgettable night.
OAP:Wow I can imagine these Masters, on one stage, all night long, keeping your laughter flowing. That’s Glo Laffta Fest 2015 for you o. I hear the musicians are not left out - from artistes like Wizkid, Burna Boy, Flavour, MI, Korede Bello and so many others.
Basket mouth : Correct. Lots of musicians and Dj’s will be on the Laffta Fest train to thrill the audience. The Good news is that Laffta Fest will not only hold in Victoria Island. The Laffta Fest show will also be touring Ikeja, Surulere, Ikorodu, Egbeda and many cities outside lagos. You don’t want to miss it.
